<STRONG><P ALIGN="CENTER">ELECTRIC EXTRACTION OF POISONS</P>

<p>To all whom it may concern:</P>
<p> Be it known that I, John Bunyan Campbell, a citizen of the United States, residing at Cincinnati, in the county of Hamilton and State of Ohio, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in the Electrical Extraction of Poisons form the Human Body; and I hereby declare that the accompanying is a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, in which the figure is a view in perspective of a male subject or patient seated in a chair, the electric battery, and the conductive-wires leading fromt he electrical battery to the positive and negative plates, which in the illustration are shown applied to the back of the neck of the patient and at the same time to the bare feet of the patient or person receiving treatment.</P>
<p> Referring by numerals to the accompanying drawing, 1 designates the chair in which the patient seats himself when he desires to receive treatment for the extraction of mineral, animal, or vegetable poisons from his system.</P>
<p> 2 is the electrical battery, which is conveniently located on a suitable stand 3 or the like and is connected by conducting wires4 and 5 to the negative electrode 6, such as a copper plate 7, where mineral poisons are to be extracted, the positive electrode8 being applied to the back of the neck of the subject, as shown in the drawing. The positive electrode 8, however, may be applied to any part of the human body where it may be necessary to extract a mineral or vegetable poison or an animal poison form the human system.</P>
<p> For vegetable poisons I employ a vegetable receiver instead of a mineral or copper one, and for animal poisons I use an animal receiver, such as raw meat, the device being capable of use with the mineral, vegetable, or animal receivers without further change than to equip it with the kind of receiver applicable to the kind of poison desired to be extracted or removed from the human system. </P>
<p> The application of the different receivers is made to the negative electrode, and the positive electrode is applied to any suitable part of the body. When the current is turned on, it will run down from the neck or other suitable place through the patient's body and will pull or draw out the poison at the negative pole and deposit it in the copper plate. From six to eight treatments of a half an hour each in duration will generally extract all of the poison of whatever kind it may be, and the copper plate will show as bright and clear as it was at first. The copper plate or other receiver may be applied to any part of human body where poison may be found. </P>
<p> Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-</P>
<p> The herein described method of extracting poisons from the human body, consisting in providing the negative electrode of an electric battery with interchangeable recivers o faniml, vegetable or mineral substance, to extract a poison from the body of a nature or kind corresponding with or to the negative electrode employed, as set forth.</P>
